The Roland SH2000 is the very first synthesizer with a touch sensitive keyboard. Monophonic of course, only capable of playing one note at a time. This era in manufacturing begins to mark the difference between synthesizers and keyboards as "keyboards" do not yet exist technically. From here on out, synthesizers and keyboards and pianos will exist separately, and then become virtual. Let's not forget kids, that a piano is a four hundred pound chunk of wood, not an app on your cell phone or a voice on your laptop garage band music sequencer!
